1. Call to order

Ryan Hart called to order the regular meeting of the Andersen DEANs Foundation at 7:05pm on September 1^st, 2020 via Zoom

1. Roll call

The following members were present:  Ryan Hart, Michael Dye, Darren Anthony, Tim Blackburn, Nate Kuchera, Mike Gartner, Nate DeSousa and Scott Lea via Zoom Teleconference

Special Guest: Newport Mesa Unified School District Board of Trustee Karen Yelsey

• Open Issues & New Business
  1. Karen Yelsey provided all board members present with an update on NMUSD’s progress towards opening the district schools for in-person learning.
  2. Board members discussed how to best communicate with Andersen Elementary School families to help them voice their suggestions or concerns to NMUSD Board of Trustees
  3. Discussed how DEANS can help Andersen Elementary School with additional air filters for overall safety of students, teachers and staff

Ryan Hart adjourned the meeting at 8:10pm.
